- Quickly test data-based server responses
- Validate expected JSON data
- Verify the contract between client requests and server responses
- Embed into an already existing standard for testing (PHPUnit)
- Be easy to use and embed in your existing test structure.
See the installation guide.
ResponseHound works by
- Sending HTTP based requests to a web server
- Capturing the response
- Parsing the response into a useable form
- Executing tests against the returned data based on you definitions
To do this, you will make a basic request at the beginning of your test. This will include any parameters that need to be passed into you server. Once the data has been retrieved (and automatically parsed), you are free to start writing tests against the structure and content of the data.
Read the reference guide.
